The inverter power supply that undergoes AC→DC→AC conversion is called uv variable frequency power supply. It is different from the variable frequency speed controller used for motor speed control, and it is also different from the ordinary AC stabilized power supply. The main function of the variable frequency power supply is to transform the existing AC grid power supply into a stable and pure sine wave power supply of the required frequency. The ideal AC power supply is characterized by stable frequency, stable voltage, zero internal resistance, and a pure sine wave (without distortion) in the voltage waveform. The variable frequency power supply is very close to the ideal AC power supply. Therefore, in advanced developed countries, the variable frequency power supply is increasingly used as the standard power supply in order to provide the best power supply environment for the electrical appliances and facilitate the objective assessment of the technical performance of the electrical appliances.
